PPLF recently completed important maintenance on the Settling Pond at M-140 and Hagar Shore Road, removing significant debris. This will slow water flow and allow sediment from the Branch and Derby Drain to settle.
Why It Matters:
The Settling Pond is crucial in keeping Paw Paw Lake clean by capturing sediment, harmful nutrients, and agricultural runoff, and effectively stopping them from entering the lake.
